A public and community relations professional with 13 years of experience, Azania has created and implemented strategic communications and engagement opportunities for companies, organizations and government agencies. Media coverage includes national publications like Huffington Post, Essence, Univision and a host of local print, television, radio, podcasts and blogs. Azania approaches her work with optimism and joy and has managed internal communications, integrated communications and high-stakes public affairs and crises at the national and local level  for communities throughout the united states. 

She is a strong writer and public speaker with a keen ability to resonate with target audiences.  She previously served on the Community Relations Board for the City of Charlotte and regularly supports and attends arts and cultural events. Azania has a dual Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
